![]() The people in this world have their own customs, religions, mythos. It seems to be set in an equivalent of WW1 Ottoman Empire (I’ve played Battlefield 1, I know :P) but with magic! In my opinion this setting works and the author gave it enough detail in order to become its own thing. ![]() So in terms of setting and atmosphere this book is quite interesting. I’m a bit outta shape but I’ll try my best. God! When was the last time I reviewed a book that wasn’t reread or a new installment in a an already begun series O.O? *checks reviews list* Apparently it was way back in October when I read Golem and the Jinni. Well yes and no, but I’m getting ahead of myself. Is the main character from this book living up to the title of “girl with gun”. May contain spoilers! Read at your own risk! I personally think of her – and yes I have seen Black Lagoon! in case you don’t know I also watch anime from time to time. ![]() What do you guys think when you hear “girls with guns”? ![]()
